All the best to all those Bollywood hotties jumping onto the IPL band wagon. IPL has proved to be a money spinner, and many actors are coming together to co-own teams, and be a part of this new innings. Interesting! With two of India’s biggest religions - Cricket and Films - uniting in the world of bat-and-ball, cricket just got glossier!
Only recently, we learnt that actors Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt, who became fast friends while shooting for ‘All The Best’, were keen to own an IPL team. Their meeting with Lalit Modi was well talked about. And now, we hear, that filmmaker Priyadarshan, along with actors Mohanlal and Akhay Kumar, is keen to be a part of this gend baazi, too! The trio has been meeting with the IPL Chairman for about a week now. “I’ve been busy with the IPL meetings,” Priyadarshan told Indiatimes Movies. “But of course everything depends on the bids. We are hopeful that things will work out, but like cricket, one just never knows.”
So who’ll own what
