Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja Spotted at city court in Mumbai

There was a lot of drama in a Mumbai sessions court where Shiney Ahuja was produced.

Ahuja, in custody on charges of raping his maid, complained of severe back pain and was reduced to tears after he limped into the court room — supported by two constables — for a hearing.

‘‘He has a history of back pain from a slipped disc and that’s what is acting up,’’ the actor’s lawyer, Sameer Nangre, said. Sessions judge S R Trivedi asked Arthur Road jail authorities to give Ahuja the necessary medical treatment and even shift him to JJ Hospital if necessary.

Ahuja has been in custody for more than three months now since his arrest on June 15.

He looked like he was in considerable pain and, at one point during the hearing, he was seen slouching down and in tears.
